- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 10 oz mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Boil sweet potatoes until fork-tender, then drain.
- Mash until creamy and smooth.
- Mix in butter, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Spread into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with mini marshmallows evenly.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–35 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
Notes
Make ahead by assembling without marshmallows and refrigerating overnight. Add marshmallows just before baking for best results. For a crunchy twist, add chopped pecans or maple drizzle before serving.
