- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- Filling: 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Glaze: 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 2-3 tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients; mix until combined.
- Mix filling ingredients. Roll out dough, sprinkle filling, roll tightly, and slice into rounds.
- Bake 10–12 minutes or until golden.
- Whisk glaze and drizzle over cooled cookies before serving.
Notes
Chill the dough before slicing for perfect swirls. Store in an airtight container up to 4 days or freeze up to 2 months.
