Description

Flaky crescent dough wrapped around creamy chive cheese, turkey, and cranberry sauce. The perfect easy, festive appetizer for Thanksgiving or Christmas!


Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 4 oz chive and onion cream cheese
  • 1.5 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tsp chopped rosemary or thyme
  • 2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese
  • 1 lb sliced turkey
  • 14 oz can whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange crescent dough in a ring with wide edges overlapping.
  3. Mix cream cheese, mustard, and herbs; spread over dough.
  4. Layer turkey, cranberry sauce, and cheese. Fold dough tips over filling and tuck under.
  5. Brush with butter mixture. Bake 22–24 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make ahead and refrigerate unbaked up to 6 hours. Substitute puff pastry for a flakier version or add brie for extra creaminess.
