Description

Creamy, spiced deviled eggs piped to look like adorable pumpkins — a festive, savory twist for fall gatherings, Thanksgiving, or Halloween!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 23 drops orange food coloring (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onion for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil eggs for 10–12 minutes, then cool in ice water.
  2. Slice eggs in half and remove yolks. Mash yolks with mayo, mustard, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Add orange food coloring if desired and mix well.
  4. Pipe yolk mixture into egg whites in pumpkin shapes using a star tip.
  5. Garnish with paprika and a small piece of green onion for the ‘stem’.

Notes

For a natural orange color, mix in a touch of paprika or turmeric. Store covered in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
