- 1 lb thinly sliced steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onions, peppers, and mushrooms for 4–5 minutes until tender. Remove and set aside.
- Add steak to the pan, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Return veggies to the pan and stir. Top with cheese, cover, and let melt for 2 minutes.
- Divide into bowls, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Use shaved steak for best texture. Substitute provolone with mozzarella or Swiss if preferred. For meal prep, store in airtight containers for up to 4 days.
