Description

Sweet, buttery, and perfectly tender—these honey glazed carrots are the ultimate 20-minute side dish for holidays or everyday dinners. Coated in a glossy honey-butter glaze, they add warmth and color to every plate.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil carrots for 5–7 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and stir in honey and brown sugar until slightly thickened.
  3. Add carrots and toss to coat. Cook 2–3 minutes more until glossy.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with herbs, and serve warm.

Notes

To roast instead, toss carrots in butter, honey, and sugar, then roast at 400°F for 25 minutes. For extra shine, add a small pat of butter just before serving.
