Description

Soft, gooey, and topped with rich cream cheese icing — these Easy One Hour Cinnamon Rolls bake up in just 60 minutes for instant homemade comfort.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 packet (0.25 oz) yeast
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3½ cups flour
  • ½ cup softened butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1½ tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 24 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Activate yeast in warm milk, butter, and sugar; rest 10 min.
  2. Add egg, salt, vanilla, and flour to form dough. Knead lightly.
  3. Proof in a warm oven (off) for 10 minutes.
  4. Combine filling ingredients and spread over rolled-out dough.
  5. Roll into log, slice 12 rolls, place in greased pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes.
  7. Whisk icing ingredients and spread over warm rolls.

Notes

Make ahead by refrigerating assembled rolls overnight and baking fresh. For extra gooey texture, ice while warm.
