- 6–7 fresh peaches (peeled and sliced) or frozen peaches (thawed)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (or honey/maple syrup)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
For the Crisp Topping:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour (or almond flour)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup melted butter or coconut oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix peaches, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Pour into a baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over peaches.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for best flavor. This recipe works well with fresh or thawed frozen peaches. Make ahead and refrigerate unbaked for up to 24 hours.
