- 1 ½ cups unsweetened applesauce
- 1 ½ cups flour
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup oil

- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp salt
- 8 oz cream cheese
- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch pan.
- Mix wet ingredients in one bowl and dry ingredients in another. Combine until smooth.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes. Cool completely.
- Beat frosting ingredients until fluffy and spread over cooled cake.
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top before serving.
Notes
Use unsweetened applesauce. Cool cake fully before frosting. Store covered in the fridge for up to 4 days.
